Fall 2009

So Deans was back at UVU in the BFA program, but we kept talking about the U of U. I guess I was so sick of all the drama in utah county, family drama and decided that Dean needed to go to the U, thinking it would lead to greater opportunities. Come to find out in Oct. Dean was accepted into U of U!!! I knew he would. I was still fighting to find a job at that time. found out two of my friends from Murray passed away weeks apart, I was a wreak.

For Halloween Brynn, Carlee and I hosted our own Murder Mystery Party.
We did a Mid-Evil times theme. Rented out a location bought a kit and went crazy. In the end our pictures remind me of LARPing. Dean and I where the hosts, Carlee was the murder and Brian was killed. It was so much fun.
I also found out that I am not a stay at home wife, Well not know. I am much happier when I am working or something. Even if its standing all day in a flower warehouse doing stupid turkey floral designers for 7.75 hr.

After the Wedding...........

The wedding was a dream come true!!!! it went so fast and loved all of it. A BIG thanks to the Salt Lake City Marriott Center and staff. The food and service was as if we were kings and queens. The Honeymoon suite was insanely nice, as well.
Dean moved in with me at the house I had been managing for years, just until I found a job. It turns out I got a job at FOR EVERY BODY a candle company.
My friend Audrey got married less then a month from mine. That meant road trip to vegas with Dean and our Carly G. for their birthdays as well seeing all this was in the same week. Then the following month after that Nate and Ashly got married. Nate was a groomsmen at our wedding. Then before Dean and I could even move into our own place I was let go. For reasons no one really knows. Luckly we just got our new addition to the family Bailey, Elloits daughter.
Well...... because Dean was working part time at the Sundance Tree Room and was just about to start school for the fall we ended up moving into his parent's basement. It was rough because we had to sell a lot of things to pay for moving costs and we didn't have a lot of room. So we packed all of our stuff and pretty much just kept our clothes and "must-haves" out. We didn't even get to open/use our wedding gifts. (Which is sad because we STILL haven't sent out thank you cards) It's been so long that I dont even remember what we have anymore.

2009 UVU Graduation

I graduated from UVU as the first class!!!! It was a dream I worked so hard to get their and poof it was done.
When I first walked out of the Mckay Event center I was blown away and almost in tears as I walked down the hall with all the professors and audience standing and clapping. What was funny was even though I was on the front row I had the hardest time listening to our guest speaker President Monson mainly because I was just in shock to be there.
After that was the graduation ceremony for the School of Art and our guest speaker was James C. Christiansen, a artist that Dean's family has been big fans for years, even owning a few originals.

Kelsey's bachelorette Party

Last night was my friend kelseys bachelorette party. she had to dress herself blind, and yes that little number is on backwards! This video is kels blindfolded as she puts each piece of the "sexy" lingerie on. It was great. I loved the animal print one piece she had on under the sexy little red number.

Thanksgiving break

Once in a great while something amazing rolls into town and has some eye candy that really is worth seeing. When we were kids, it was Barnum & Bally's World-Class Circus; now. as adults, it's BodyWorlds!
If you haven't seen it--GO! We went over Turkey-Break and really enjoyed taking a deep, anatomical look at the same physiology we all share in common.
Admittedly, we couldn't help but giggle at the many unavoidable ... uh, "reproductive organs" so openly on display.
Despite this small inconvenience, it was awesome, awesome, awesome.
We caught up with friends and family. We even spent thanksgiving day with both family's, yes the two dinner thing. Elloit had maybe to much for his first thanksgiving.

Monthly concert

So, we have been planning for months (mid-July) to see Coldplay. Funny how the only tickets we could get were in the "nosebleed section" for $60 each. But since Dean & I share a big space in our hearts for Coldplay, we decided to shell out the bucks anyway.
As you can see by the red dot on the map, that's where we sat. Needless to say, it was amazing!!! We went with our friends Kris and Kelsey and WE ALL LOVED IT!!!
One of the most memorable parts, for me at least, is when the band all came into the crowd (about three-fourths the way up section 6 in the lower blue bowl) and played a few songs acoustically. Which I swear someone has done before but I CAN'T seem to put my finger on who it was...
All in all, it was quite an experience.
